Liposuction

This surgery is one of the most popular procedures, both for men and for women. It consists of the extraction of fatty tissue through a suction tube, reducing fat deposit areas that are not eliminated by diet or exercise.

It is also known as Liposculture. The main areas where it is performed are face, cheeks, neck, back, abdomen, thighs, hips, legs, and pectorals in men.

Duration 1- 3 hours.

Best Candidates Young men or women, with good skin and localized fat, resistant to diets and exercise.

Recovery Bandages for 1 day. Surgical garment for up to 6 weeks; bruising, numbness and inflammation for a couple of months.

Return to work: 3 to 14 days depending on the extent of the liposuction.
